FCDAC, Inc.'s Tobacco Unit is member of the Tobacco Free Southwestern Pennsylvania Service Coalition (SWPA) whose purpose is to implement regional initiatives as planned by the Tobacco Free SWPA Executive Coalition. Regional initiatives include projects related to three main areas:
- Preventing initiation of tobacco use among young people.
- Promoting quitting among adults and young people.
- Eliminating nonsmokers' exposure to secondhand smoke.
The next Tobacco Cessation classes will begin Tuesday, July 20, 2010. They will meet every Tuesday thru August 24th.
