Treatment and Support for Substance Use and Problem Gambling Concerns
Fayette County Drug & Alcohol Commission, Inc. is a fully licensed provider of outpatient treatment for individuals experiencing problems because of substance use disorder. We have certified treatment specialist to address problem gambling issues.
You Do Not Have to Navigate Treatment Alone
Reaching out for treatment can feel overwhelming, but you do not need to have everything figured out before contacting us. Our Treatment Unit can help you understand available services, talk through your needs, and connect you with care that fits your situation.
Treatment services may support individuals seeking help for themselves, people affected by a loved one’s substance use or gambling, and those referred by courts, probation, schools, employee assistance programs, aftercare providers, or other community partners.
Available Services
One-on-one sessions with a therapist developing a treatment plan and helping a client reach their goals for a substance-free life.
Available on an outpatient basis for up to 9 hours per week.
Groups of up to 10 people share experiences and unique perspectives. Through open discussions, they provide education, encouragement, and insights fostering mutual growth and support.
Available on an outpatient basis for up to 9 hours per week.
Families and couples collaborate to create a strong support system for the client, ensuring they are aligned. Counseling fosters mutual understanding among all participants.
Available on an outpatient basis for up to 9 hours per week.
Drug screening services may be provided as part of outpatient treatment, referral requirements, court-related needs, or other approved situations.
Medication Assisted Treatment, otherwise known as "MAT," is available through Fayette County Drug and Alcohol Commission, when apppropriate for a client's treatment. When MAT is utilized, we pair it with counseling to provide the best path to success!
To receive MAT, you must be diagnosed with an opioid and/or alcohol use disorder and be 18 years of age or older.
Anyone treated at Fayette County Drug and Alcohol Commission also has the option to receive these services:
• Comprehensive medical exam completed by FCDAC, Inc's physician/medical director.
• Interview with a nurse to discuss personal medical history.
• Referrals to other Fayette County agencies.
• Referrals to halfway houses and inpatient treatment facilities.
